Anthony Davis, the center of the Los Angeles Lakers, finally completed a season without major injuries, immediately showing how much he can do when healthy.
After years of struggling with injuries, Anthony Davis finally played almost an entire season, missing only six games. The 76 games he played in the regular NBA season is also his record (his previous was 75 games).
The Lakers secured a playoff spot through the play-in tournament by defeating his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans. They then lost the series 4-1 to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs.
As the season concluded, Anthony Davis was named to the All-NBA Second Team, after being selected to the First Team four times in his career. He was also named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team for the third time. These two honors make him the only player this season to be named to both teams.
Davis averaged 24.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.5 asissts, 2.3 blocks, 1.2 steals on 55.6 FG percent this season.
