Adam Hanga, a player for Crvena Zvezda, shared his impressions after the win against Bayern Munich in the sixth round of the EuroLeague.
The Hungarian international emphasized how tough the game was for the Red-Whites. He also stated that he is very happy about the triumph and that his team helped him have a sound sleep in the next few days.
“One of the toughest games for me. It was so frustrating. When things don’t go the way you want them to. I’m happy we won. I think it was important for us to get back on the winning track, a crucial game. If we had lost today, I don’t think I could sleep for three days. Thanks to the team for helping me.”
He then reflected on the psychological aspect of this win. Hanga stated that it wasn’t about pressure or anxiety, but it was evident in the numerous missed layups. He also talked about his buzzer-beating shot at the end of the first half.
“It’s not even pressure, it’s anxiety. I don’t know how many layups we missed. It’s not just pressure. We didn’t start the season as we should have, we changed the coach. It’s on us. We all know we’re better than that. We know it’s not normal to miss so many wide-open shots. I hope this win helps us. I tried to set up the ball for Milos, but it didn’t work. I saw the clock. The only shot I made was the toughest one.” – Adam Hanga.
