Adam Hanga, in an interview with ‘Meridian Sport,’ spoke about the EuroLeague matchup against Bayern and his knee injury.
Crvena Zvezda secured their second EuroLeague win this season. Although they trailed by 14 points at one point, they managed a significant triumph with a great performance in the final moments, led by Milos Teodosic and Yago dos Santos.
“It was crazy. I make the most difficult shots, but I can’t hit the open ones. It’s obviously something mental. But it meant a lot to me. It meant that I can finally get involved in the game and help the team in the right way. I need to find my way. The injury didn’t help; I was basically immobile for the last four days. However, these are all excuses at the end of the day. As I said, I’m happy about the win.”
How’s your health now?
“I had to go to the hospital twice. They had to draw blood. It wasn’t ideal, especially with the condition I have in my knee. Doctors and the team helped me get back. It was very important to me to play this game. I really wanted to help the team. Even though I didn’t help in the best way, it will get better. As I said, a win is a win.”
