Aleksa Avramovic, a player for Partizan, shared his thoughts after the defeat to Baskonia by 84-83 in the sixth round of the EuroLeague.
The Serbian point guard wasn’t satisfied with his performance and highlighted a few of his teammates from the black and white squad who played well. However, he expressed the most disappointment in himself.
“I think we let the game slip away at the end. We had control, and then two three-pointers brought them back into the game, and again, we had a chance to win at the end. The problem wasn’t just in the last three minutes; I played terribly throughout the game, and I take full responsibility, no problem with that.
We know we let the victory slip away, we know I should have played much better, and I truly take responsibility after a good rhythm because everyone played well, absolutely everyone. Vukcevic, who didn’t play much, Trifunovic played excellently, Andjusic, Jaramaz played phenomenally, Nunnally, Smailagic… We let it slip away in the end, and that’s it,” Aleksa Avramovic concluded.
In the next round, Partizan will host Fenerbahce in Belgrade.
