Aleksa Avramovic has shared his expectations ahead of the sixth round of the EuroLeague, where Partizan is set to face Baskonia.
One of the standout players of Partizan emphasizes that his team is heading to Vitoria with a clear goal to achieve victory.
“They are in a slightly worse rhythm, but we are playing without Mateusz Ponitka and Kevin Punter. We have high self-confidence because we’ve played well and organized in the previous two games. We know exactly what each player does. We’re going to play and compete, ultimately, we’re going to win,” says Aleksa Avramovic, adding:
“They are led by Vanja Marinkovic, with whom I collaborated this summer. It’s also known that they have a new head coach. Everyone knows who Dusko Ivanovic is and what he will bring. They rely on transition, the three-point shot is also there. So, they are physically well-equipped and a good team.”
“We have information that they won’t be at full strength, but no matter what lineup they have, they will step onto the court motivated because of the new coach, who has an admirable work ethic. Dusko is someone with tremendous success in his career,” emphasized Avramovic.
The clash between Baskonia and Partizan is scheduled for Friday, starting at 8:30 PM.
