Alen Smailagic has expressed expectations ahead of the 10th round of the EuroLeague, in which Partizan will be visiting Anadolu Efes.
The Serbian basketball player highlights that the black and whites haven’t had the best start to the new season and are working towards correcting things and returning to the path of win.
“Anadolu Efes is a very demanding opponent, no game in the EuroLeague is easy, and it’s up to us to fight. Definitely, we haven’t had the best start and the brightest games lately, but we are trying to improve, work, train, and hope for a better continuation of the season.”
Alen Smailagic also emphasizes how much Kevin Punter and Uros Trifunovic are missed by Partizan.
“We really miss Uros Trifunovic and Kevin Punter because they have a significant role in our team. The fact that some players are missing for them doesn’t give us the right to relax, every team can play at this level, and it’s possible to compete without each player.”
The center of Partizan sees the key to win in three segments.
“The key is to be focused, play defense, and not allow offensive rebounds to the opposing team. I think that’s okay,” emphasized the popular “Smajli” in an interview for Sport Klub.
