Alex Mumbru, Valencia’s coach, spoke ahead of tomorrow’s match in the 32nd round of the EuroLeague where his team faces Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Spanish coach emphasized the importance of this match. He also briefly reflected on the previous match against Monaco, where Valencia was close to victory.
“This is a very important game, but it’s not the final. In Monaco, the hosts only pulled away at the end, and we had control of the situation. There’s a certain balance, and this may not be the decisive game. The EuroLeague is highly competitive, and every game carries a lot of weight,” stated Alex Mumbru.
He then commented on the injured Brandon Davies:
“He’s not fully fit yet, but he’s trying to make it to Belgrade. He’ll try everything until the last minute. We’ll have to assess the risk, as we also need to think about the future. Those who are 100 percent ready will play.”
