Amine Noua will extend his one-month contract, confirmed Fenerbahce before the start of the international break.
At the end of January, Fenerbahce found themselves in a major predicament. The team from Istanbul lost Dyshawn Pierre and Nigel Hayes-Davis, prompting the club to react swiftly. Options were limited, leading to the choice of Amine Noua.
The contract was initially signed for one month, allowing the team to ensure they could terminate the agreement quickly if an extension wasn’t necessary. However, Noua performed exceptionally well in a relatively short time, prompting Fenerbahce to activate the extension option until the end of the season.
He had spent the previous parts of the season with FIBA Champions League squads Hapoel Holon and Bertam Derthona Basket before landing on Fenerbahce.
In four EuroLeague games with Fenerbahce, Noua averaged 8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 9 PIR on 75% two-point shooting and 57.1% three-point shooting.
