Andres Feliz, a former Joventut player, is officially Real Madrid’s first signing, the club announced on social media today.
The Dominican signed a three-year contract with the Madrid club, rewarding himself for an excellent previous season with Joventut.

Andres Feliz is currently in Greece for the Olympic qualifying tournament and did not hide his excitement about playing in front of the Madrid fans when speaking to reporters.
“This is a club with a great history, a lot of talented players, and fantastic fans. Playing for this club, which constantly competes in the top leagues and wins trophies, represents a big step forward in my career,” said the 26-year-old point guard.
Last season, he posted impressive numbers in the Liga Endesa, averaging 15 points and 4.3 rebounds, while in the EuroCup, he averaged 14.7 points and 5.1 assists.
Last season, he was selected for the All-Liga Endesa First Team and also for the All-EuroCup Second Team.
Real Madrid continues to build their team for the upcoming season. Vincent Poirier and Carlos Alocen have left the team, while Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Rodriguez have retired. Mario Hezonja has extended his contract for another 5 years.
