Anthony Edwards, a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, responded to an interesting question from a journalist in his own style.
Known for his candidness in front of the cameras, it was no different this time before the third game between the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, and his team from Minneapolis.
“You’ve talked a lot about facing experienced players in the series against the Phoenix Suns and how that motivates you. It’s interesting at your age to see all these representatives of the old school. Was Jamal Murray one of those you looked up to and watched earlier?” was the journalist’s question.
“At this point, everyone from the Denver Nuggets is only a few years older than me. Surely one of them isn’t Jamal Murray. I’m 23 years old, and how old is he? 27? Kevin Durant is 35 or 36 years old. With all due respect to Murray, I don’t know what your intention is to start,” replied the leader of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards.
At this moment, the team from Minneapolis leads 2-0 against the reigning champions, and in the next two games, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be the hosts.
