Breogan’s team held their own against the favorites for three quarters, but Roger Grimau’s team shifted into a higher gear, winning the last quarter 21-12 and securing the win.
Jan Vesely was the standout player in the winning team with 17 points and seven rebounds, followed by Dario Brizuela, Jabari Parker, and Oriol Pauli, each scoring nine points.
Martynas Sajus led the home team with 15 points, Justin Anderson contributed 12, Mouhamet Diouf added 10, and Stefan Momirov scored seven points.

Nicolas Brussino had another strong performance for Gran Canaria, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in Vitoria. AJ Slaughter added 14 points. Matt Costello was the best performer for the home team with 25 points, Markus Howard contributed 13, Tadas Sedekerskis had 12, and Vanja Marinkovic scored nine points.
