Bayern won against Tubingen 92:73 in the 30th round of the Bundesliga, taking advantage of Alba Berlin’s slip-up.
Playing at home, Bayern secured the victory mainly through a stronger performance in the second half against the bottom-placed team in the league.
After the first half, the scoreboard showed 43:40 in favor of Pablo Laso’s team. Then, in the second half, they stepped up their game and secured a routine win.
Devin Booker led the winning team with 14 points, Sylvain Francisco contributed 13 points, and Vladimir Lucic had 11 points along with seven rebounds and four assists. On the opposing side, Evan Maxwell was the top scorer with 21 points, Frank Gaines scored 16, and Mateo Seric added 11 points.
Oldenburg defeated Hamburg Towers 107:92 on their home court, now holding a two-game lead in the playoff race.
Geno Crandal had an outstanding performance for the winning team, scoring 34 points. On the other side, Aljami Durham scored 22 points. Hamburg Towers are now worried about their tenth-place position, holding only one more victory than Braunschweig, who defeated Alba Berlin 90:81 earlier today.
