Bayern defeated Ludwigsburg on their home court by 83:67 in the quarterfinal series of the Bundesliga.
Just two days ago, Bayern was shocked on their home court, losing in overtime by 102:98, thus opening this year’s playoffs with a loss.
However, Pablo Laso’s team came out with much more concentration and desire today, so it was clear after the first half, which ended with a score of 43:33, that Ludwigsburg didn’t have many chances for win. A very similar situation was seen on the court in the second half as well, with Bayern steadily increasing their lead, ultimately deservedly equalizing the series.
Leading Bayern to win were Carsen Edwards with 21 points and Isaac Bonga with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Serge Ibaka scored 15 points in this game. The most effective player for the visiting team was Silas Melson with 20 points.
The series now moves to Ludwigsburg where Game 3 will be played on Wednesday. The current score is 1-1.
