Pablo Laso couldn’t count on Serge Ibaka for this game, as he has been sidelined since early April due to a wrist injury.
Justin Jaworski and Jeffrey Carroll led Heidelberg with 21 points each, while Elias Harris was the top scorer for Bayern with 19 points. Leandro Bolmaro and Carsen Edwards also reached double digits with 11 points each.
Following this loss, Bayern holds a record of 23-5 and is currently tied for first place with Chemnitz. Heidelberg, with this win, has moved out of the danger zone and currently sits in 16th place in the standings with a record of 8-21.
In the next round, Bayern will host Tubingen, while Heidelberg will travel to face Syntainics MBC.

Chemnitz missed a huge opportunity to claim the top position on the table. They lost to Gottingen on the road by 100:99. Bodie Hume scored 21 points for the winners, while Wesley Van Beck led Chemnitz with 24 points.
