Bayern Munich expects a tough game when they visit the “Stark Arena” to play against Crvena Zvezda, and once again, the fans are at the center of attention.
It’s no secret that Crvena Zvezda and Partizan have created a marketing advantage with the atmosphere generated by their fans in the EuroLeague. This season is no exception, especially considering that the Belgrade “eternal rivals” play their home games in the largest European arena.
“The fans are very loud. Playing in front of such a crowd is very exciting. They are currently in a tough position and want to get back on the winning track. We need to enter the game ready and focused and not let them build an early lead in the first ten minutes. Defense, rebounds, and the little details will be the key to the match,” said guard of Bayern, Sylvain Francisco, who is in his first EuroLeague season of his career.
World champion and one of the best shooters in Europe, German international Andreas Obst, added:
“The atmosphere in Belgrade is always unique. We have to play good defense, especially since Crvena Zvezda has so many players in their lineup who can make a difference. It will be tough, but these are the games that define the EuroLeague.”
