Former Crvena Zvezda power forward Ben Bentil has returned to Europe as he has officially signed for highly ambitious Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Bentil spent the last season in Japan, after wearing the red and white jersey in the EuroLeague, and in a recent interview with Basketball Sphere, he indicated that he is returning to the Old Continent.
The choice fell on the Israeli team, which already has Jonathan Motley, a EuroLeague star, in its composition.
All of this is proof that club from Tel Aviv has the highest goals and that Stefanos Dedas’ team could be a big favorite to win the EuroCup, in which it is participating.
Bentil, in addition to Motley, will join Oz Blayzer, Joe Ragland and Guy Palatino as new acquisitions.
Last season in Japan, he averaged 17 points in the Gunma Crane Thunders team, and before that he played for Crvena Zvezda, Milano, Bahcesehir, Panathinaikos, Peristeri, Bilbao, Champagne Basket, Dallas Mavericks, with trips to China…
