Olympiacos will enter the EuroLeague season opener against Panathinaikos without a backup center.
It has been confirmed that Moustapha Fall won’t be available on Friday, and the match at the OAKA arena might also be missed by Olympiacos’ latest acquisition, Ignas Brazdeikis.
Fall is dealing with an injury and won’t be at the disposal of coach Georgios Bartzokas. On the other hand, Brazdeikis has only participated in three training sessions since arriving in Piraeus, so it’s not 100 percent certain that he will take to the court on Friday.
On the other hand, Ergin Ataman’s team will be without Dinos Mitoglou and Ioannis Papapetrou due to injuries.
Mitoglou suffered a calf injury, while the former Partizan player is dealing with a knee injury that will keep him sidelined for some time.
Initial assessments by doctors indicate that Ataman won’t be able to count on Dinos for a few more weeks.
The match between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos is scheduled for Friday (at the OAKA arena) at 8:15 PM.
