Bill Simmons, sportswriter and cultural critic who is the founder and CEO of the sports and pop culture website The Ringer talked about the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Bill Simmons outlines how big this Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns-led squad could be in the coming years.
“I think the Timberwolves’s going to sweep the Nuggets. I’ve been through these a few times as a fan. And, I think this one’s done and basketball’s about to change as we know it.
This is the wrong time, wrong opponent, wrong season for a Jokic-Minnesota match-up, and what I’m interested in is what they would do going forward under this what-if scenario of what if the Timberwolves sweeps. If they get swept what does the team look like next year? What are the moves?
What do they do because Tim Connelly built the Timberwolves to beat the Nuggets now the Nuggets has to rebuild themselves to not only beat the Timberwolves but you also have the Thunder coming,” Bill Simmons concluded.
