Bismack Biyombo is set to strengthen the Memphis Grizzlies, according to well-informed sources like Shams Charania.
The player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo is on the verge of signing with the team from Tennessee. The club is looking to bolster its roster after the injury to Steven Adams, who is out for the season. The NBA veteran has been a member of the Phoenix Suns for the past two years.
However, there is a small issue. The signing won’t be officially announced until the sixth game of the season. The reason for this delay is that Memphis will be granted another roster addition due to the suspension of Ja Morant.
The “Grind City” team will need the help as they have started the season with three losses in as many games. Biyombo is expected to join the team after the game against the Utah Jazz.
