Serbian basketball player Boban Marjanovic has officially signed a one-year contract with the Houston Rockets.
The former center of Crvena Zvezda will continue to play for the franchise he joined last year. Marjanovic has inked a veteran’s minimum contract, which means he will earn at least $1,300,000.
However, the 35-year-old center has the potential to earn more in the upcoming season, as he could receive $2,890,000 based on a partially guaranteed contract, depending on his performance.

Now, the future is in the hands of the popular “Bobi.” It’s worth noting that in Houston, he’s projected as the third center, with Alperen Sengun and Jock Landale having an advantage.
In the previous NBA season, Boban Marjanovic came off the bench in 31 games, averaging 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in just over five minutes per match.
This marks Bobi’s third contract with a Texas team. He arrived in a trade from Dallas before the start of the previous season, was waived on February 9th, and then re-signed on the 13th. Now, he’s back again, extending his stay in the NBA, where he first entered in 2015, and has also played for San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Dallas Mavericks.
