Bogdan Bogdanovic has been declared the best basketball player in Serbia according to the choice of the Basketball Federation of Serbia and journalists.
The captain of the ‘Eagles’ and player for the Atlanta Hawks received the most votes, surpassing the current NBA ring holder, Nikola Jokic.
Bogdan Bogdanovic, as the captain of the Serbian national team, won a silver medal in the previous World Championship. It is worth noting that Svetislav Pesic’s team was defeated in the final by Germany.
The Serbian basketball player has carried his good form onto the NBA courts, where he is considered one of the best players on the Atlanta Hawks’ team. Bogdanovic averages 17.7 points per game, making him a strong contender for the title of the league’s best sixth player.
