The largest lead the Hawks managed to build was a staggering 18 points, but even that wasn’t enough to secure the win. The Hornets won the fourth quarter by 38:22 and ultimately deservedly triumphed. The top scorers for the home team were Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vit Krejci with 19 points each. Brandon Miller stood out for the Charlotte Hornets with 27 points. Aleksej Pokusevski finished the game with 10 points and six rebounds, while Vasilije Micic scored only two points. The Serbian guard failed to convert any field goals in his 22 minutes on the court.
The Hawks remain 10th in the East with a record of 36-44, while the Charlotte Hornets are 13th on the table with 20 wins and 60 losses.
