Bogdan Bogdanovic spoke to “RTS” after his Atlanta Hawks’ win over the Milwaukee Bucks about the upcoming Olympic Games.
The Hawks won 127:110, and the Serbian guard was the second-leading scorer on the team with 17 points and six assists. He made six of ten field goal attempts. After the game, he had a conversation with Serbian media, and preparations have already begun for the prestigious competition that will take place in Paris next year.
“If my health holds up, I’m going! Honestly, we haven’t had extensive discussions yet. We’ve briefly talked about it with Taki (Dragan Tarlac, the national team director) and Kari, just through messages. Maybe with some teammates, just to see where we stand, what we are, to connect and communicate. It’s not something for now; it’s still a long way off,” said Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Impressions after the silver in Manila
“It was great, and over time, it will gain even more significance. It was a nice summer behind me, a good sacrifice, and we had that unfortunate incident with Borisa Simanić, but he survived, which is the most important. There were no major injuries to other players, and we returned healthy, which is crucial. I believe there was good chemistry and camaraderie.”
