Atlanta Hawks suffered a defeat against the Boston Celtics with a score of 113:103, and a standout performance came from Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Boston led from the first to the last minute, and it can be said that the question of the winner was never in doubt at any moment. At one point, the home team even had a lead of up to 20 points, which is the best indicator of the current quality difference between the two teams.
The most deserving for such an outcome was undoubtedly Jayson Tatum, who recorded 34 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in his team’s victory. Right behind him, Jaylen Brown stood out with 13 points fewer, and double-digit contributions also came from Derrick White and Sam Hauser.
On the other side, Trae Young shone, but even his 33 points were not enough for the Atlanta Hawks to make a breakthrough. The remaining two double-digit scorers in the Hawks’ roster were De’Andre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic. The American player finished the game with 24 points, but the Serbian, despite one point less, had significantly better shooting percentages.
Bogdanovic spent 32 minutes on the court and scored 23 points with a 7/10 three-point shooting and 1/2 two-point shooting (67%).
Boston remains the leader in the Eastern Conference with a record of 13-4, while the Atlanta Hawks are currently the ninth-best team in the standings with eight wins and eight losses.
The Hawks will have a chance for redemption in just two days when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers.
