Brandon Ingram, one of the key players for the New Orleans Pelicans, suffered an injury last night in the game against the Orlando Magic, which will keep him out for a minimum of two weeks.
These are good news for the Louisiana team, as the initial prognosis was not encouraging at all. Ingram left the game against the Orlando Magic after a knee injury, which initially appeared to be very serious. However, after further analysis, the forward avoided a more severe injury, so he will be sidelined for the next two weeks.
Brandon Ingram, alongside Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum, has been one of the standout players for the New Orleans Pelicans this season. He’s been playing at a high level, much more efficiently than in previous seasons, averaging 20.9 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
The New Orleans Pelicans have been in excellent form lately, currently sitting at the fifth position in the Western Conference of the NBA, with just one win less than the fourth-placed Los Angeles Clippers. Consequently, this will be a significant blow to Willie Green’s team in their quest for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
