Brandon Paul shared his thoughts and views ahead of the third round regional competition match between Buducnost and Krka.
He played his best game in Buducnost’s jersey, scoring 19 points, but his team suffered a defeat against Turk Telekom. Now, they are hosting Krka, and the American basketball player knows the formula for getting back on the winning track.
“We need to return to our style of basketball. You know, I think we entered the previous game too softly, and Turk Telekom knew how to exploit that and punish us. They are a good team, well-coached. We managed to regain our playing style in the second half and showed that we can come out as winners in the next game. However, we must enter the match much more aggressively and deliver the first ‘blows.’
We are hosting a tricky team that has already surprised on the road this season. Therefore, we must be cautious, highly focused, and play as we have shown we can. I am confident that with the right approach and the great support of our fans, whom I invite to create a ‘crazy’ atmosphere as in previous matches, victory will not be in question, and our quality will shine through,” were the words with which Brandon Paul previewed the match.
The game between Podgorica’s Buducnost and Krka will be played at the “Moraca” arena starting at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 14th.
