Brazil turned the game around at Rod Laver Arena in the fourth quarter. They were trailing by seven points but managed to secure the quarter with a 26-15 score, ultimately sealing the victory.
Leading the triumph were Bruno Caboclo with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Vitor Benite with 17 points. Australia’s effort was led by Josh Giddey with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
This marked Brazil’s second preparation match and second victory after previously defeating South Sudan. On the other hand, Australia, following their dominant performance against Venezuela, now holds a 50% record in preparation games.
