Bronny James, son of LeBron James, spoke at the NBA Draft Combine about upcoming challenges and potential appearances in the NBA.
Despite rumors suggesting LeBron James might opt out of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers to play alongside his son, Bronny James says that was never an option. He also hinted that he wants to leave his own mark in the NBA, regardless of who his father is.
“No, never. My dream has always just been to put my name out, make a name for myself, and get to the NBA, which is everyone’s end goal that’s here. I never thought about just playing with my dad, but of course he’s brought it up a couple of times. But yeah, I don’t think about it much,” Bronny James said Tuesday, via Michael Scotto.
Let’s recall that last summer, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest, but this month he received clearance to enter the 2024 NBA Draft.
