Brazilian center Bruno Caboclo will not stay in Partizan, according to Meridian sport, for which his agent spoke.
Caboclo had disagreements with the black and whites after he left the team in the middle of the playoffs, when it comes to the Basketball League of Serbia.
It seemed that his days were numbered then, but the Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic declared that he would still stay in Belgrade, with a fine.
However, things have changed, as Caboclo’s agent, Daniel Hazan, spoke about.
“You know that Bruno left Partizan to join the Brazilian national team. He had to do all the tests before the start of the preparations, we had a clause in the contract according to which the club is obliged to allow him to do that”.
There is another side to the story.
“Two salaries are late. In the contract, there is a period of 30 days for which the club can be late with payments, but also that we must send an email with a request for payment within seven days (of exceeding the delay). That’s what we did. But no one answered our email, nor was the money paid. And – we sent a request to terminate the contract. We have already made our decision. Bruno will not play in Partizan”, said Hazan and thus explained the reasons.
Vanja Marinkovic, Iffe Lundberg and Frank Ntilikina have strengthened Partizan so far, while Kevin Punter and Zach LeDay have gone in the other direction. Alen Smailagic is expected to leave the team soon.
