Bruno Caboclo, a Partizan player, left the club ahead of the Serbian Super League final series against Crvena Zvezda.
We are sharing the club’s statement from Humska in full and without editorial changes.
“Partizan center Bruno Caboclo grossly violated club discipline yesterday and voluntarily left the team ahead of the Serbian Super League final. The player traveled to Orlando without the club’s permission or any notification, allegedly due to obligations with the Brazilian national team.
KK Partizan has never encountered such actions from a player in its history and will take all legal steps to protect its interests in the best possible way. By voluntarily leaving the team, Bruno Caboclo set a precedent and left his teammates without support in the final. Disciplinary proceedings have been immediately initiated against the player.
To avoid any public speculation, KK Partizan confirms that all financial obligations towards Bruno Caboclo have been timely met, and money cannot be the reason for his voluntary departure.
At this moment, the club has an option in the contract to retain the player for the next season, and a decision on further actions will be made in the coming days.”
