FMP slightly opened the game better, taking a 12-7 lead on the backs of Bojan Subotic and Hugo Besson. With a 9-0 run, Cedevita Olimpija imposed their rhythm, which eventually reflected in a 26-25 lead after the first 10 minutes of play.
In the following minutes, Klemen Prepelic shone and initiated a 19-2 run for the Ljubljana team. Austin Luke interrupted the FMP dry spell, but it wasn’t enough to significantly reduce the substantial deficit. In the end, Simone Pianigiani’s team went into halftime with a 58-42 lead.
