Charles Barkley commented on the trade between the Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors, where Pascal Siakam was the main actor.
The legendary American always speaks his mind, and this is no exception. In the “NBA on TNT” show, he spoke in superlatives about the trade between these two teams and sees the Pacers as contenders for the title in the East.
“He was the second-best player when they won the championship. Look at the stats. This is not a good trade for the Pacers, it’s a great one. I love what they’re doing in Indiana. They say, ‘You know what? Let’s go all-in.’ If we have a chance to get an All-Star player, and you rarely get the chance to bring in such players, let’s get him. His stats will only get better because he’s playing with better teammates,” Charles Barkley began his statement.
He spoke appreciatively about the Pacers’ organization in the end and also touched on Bruce Brown, who went to Canada.
“I love what the Pacers are doing. I think my Sixers need another player. I really do. But I love this trade. I know they’ll miss Bruce Brown. I’m a big fan of Bruce Brown. In fact, I think Bruce Brown will be traded to another competitive team because he is an extremely talented player. But I love what the Pacers did”.
