Chemnitz continued their excellent performances in the Bundesliga, securing a convincing win over Tubingen by 113:82 in the 28th round.
They remain the sole faithful follower to the league leader, Bayern. Besides winning, they do so in an attractive manner, with high-scoring games, which Tubingen felt firsthand.
In a game where they scored 113 points, they made only eight three-pointers, but had an almost perfect night shooting two-pointers (24/30 or 80 percent). They attempted 55 free throws, of which they converted 41.
The winning team had six players with double-digit performances. Kevin Yebo led with 23 points, Wesley Van Beck contributed 20, and Kaza Kajami-Keane finished with 18 points. On the opposing side, in the team at the bottom of the table, Jhivvan Jackson and Mateo Seric were the top scorers with 16 points each.
Braunschweig secured a 98:88 win over Crailsheim, where former Partizan player Leo Westermann contributed 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Ludwigsburg defeated Heidelberg 93:68 at home, ending a two-game losing streak, while Oldenburg secured an 88-82 away win against Vechta.
