Chemnitz secured their place in the Bundesliga semifinals after defeating Vechta 84:67 in the fourth game on the road.
With a 3-1 win, Chemnitz advanced to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Ulm – Wurzburg duel, with Wurzburg currently leading 2-1 in the series.
The guests did a great job by halftime, holding a significant lead of 44:26 after 20 minutes of play. They maintained their lead comfortably until the end, becoming the second team, after Alba Berlin, to reach the semifinals.
American Jeffery Garrett led the winners with 19 points, followed by Canadian Aher Uguak with 14, while another American player, DeAndre Lansdowne, contributed 13 points.
In the Vechta team, the dominance came from American players, with Tommy Kuhse scoring 18 points, while Chavares Flanigan and Wesley Iwundu each contributed 10 points.
