Cholet surprisingly defeated Paris on the road by 91:81 in Game 1 of the LNB Pro A quarterfinal series.
It’s completely incredible that Paris didn’t lead for a single second in this game. Cholet already gained a double-digit lead in the first quarter, which they didn’t relinquish until the end of the game. The EuroCup winner attempted to stage a comeback, they came close at 68:66 in the final quarter, but the visitors repelled that attack and ultimately celebrated a thoroughly deserved win.
Cholet was led to win by Tidjane Salaun and Vojtech Hruban, each with 19 points. Kim Tillie added 16 points. In Paris, Sebastian Herrera scored 26 points, while TJ Shorts scored 18.
Game 2 will be played on Saturday starting at 8:00 PM.
