Cleveland Cavaliers have received permission from the Minnesota Timberwolves to interview Micah Nori for the head coach position.
After firing J. B. Bickerstaff the Cavs have been searching for a new head coach. Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Ohio based team was given the green light to conduct an interview with Nori.
The Minnesota Timberwolves assistant’s role was increased during the playoffs. Chris Finch was injured unfortunately by Mike Conley and he led some games from the bench.
The Timberwolves’ lead assistant previously worked in the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets, and Detroit Pistons. Micah Nori is also one of the main candidates for the Los Angeles Lakers job.
