Cory Higgins is set to become the new player for Crvena Zvezda in the coming days, as reported by Telegraf.
The club’s decision from Belgrade has been significantly influenced by the injury to Nemanja Nedovic, who is expected to be sidelined for the next four weeks.
Cory Higgins was previously linked to Crvena Zvezda during the summer, but due to health issues the player faced, the Red-Whites decided to explore other options for the guard position.
As a reminder, the American’s most recent club was Barcelona in the 2022/2023 season. During that time in the EuroLeague, Higgins averaged 8.7 points per game. However, it did not meet the satisfaction of the Catalan management, leading to the decision not to extend the contract after its expiration.
Currently, Crvena Zvezda is without Nikola Topic in the lineup, and it will be known by the end of the day how long Mike Tobey will be sidelined, as he also sustained an injury in the Mediolanum Forum.
