Damian Lillard had more than a successful weekend in Indianapolis and returns to Milwaukee with two trophies.
Lillard first won the three-point shooting contest and then was named MVP of the NBA All-Star game, where he finished with 39 points. He made 11 three-pointers and led the East to a 211-186 victory.
“I just knew you had to keep shooting the ball, and I felt like in a game like this, it’s going to be pretty loose, and you’re going to get your opportunities.
I just told myself I was going to be aggressive and keep shooting. I saw a couple go in, and then it was like I was just chasing them,” said Damian Lillard.
