Dimitris Giannakopoulos is angry at the Hellenic Basketball Federation, and he expressed his great dissatisfaction on Instagram.
Specifically, the owner of Panathinaikos is unhappy with the officiating in the finals of the Greek league, and he blames the leaders of the Federation. And from that point on he put out some serious allegations against them.
“You are provoking a man who has helped Greece in so many ways whenever he had the chance, who went to protests for Macedonia, who always raised his voice against any injustice towards our country. Do you think that no one sees there is a criminal organization within the Hellenic Basketball Federation? Maybe I should keep my players away from the national team for the sake of higher goals in sports, until the dirt in the Federation is cleaned up,” wrote Dimitris Giannakopoulos.
Interestingly, head coach of the Greens Ergin Ataman has been ejected in both games, and Olympiacos has the opportunity to finish the job tomorrow at 20:15 in the “OAKA” Arena. The red and white team has a 2-0 series lead and is trying to get it’s 15th domestic title.
