Dimitris Itoudis has expressed expectations ahead of the eighth-round EuroLeague match in which Fenerbahce visits Crvena Zvezda.
The Greek coach, in a brief statement, emphasized that the Belgrade red and whites are an exceptionally talented team, and he anticipates a tough game for his team in the Serbian capital.
It will be a tough game on the road in Belgrade. They are a talented team. From an offensive perspective, they have significant experience, creative guards, and athletically capable centers. Again, I say it will be a tough away game,” stated Dimitris Itoudis.
Sehmuz Hazer, a player from the Turkish team, also commented on his words.
We play two consecutive away games in the EuroLeague, and we are aware of how important two such victories would be for us. We are missing some players, but I think we showed character as a team against Partizan. We will try to defeat Crvena zvezda by fighting throughout all 40 minutes.
The match between Crvena Zvezda and Fenerbahce is scheduled for tuesday, starting at 8:45 PM.
Fenerbahce is currently third in the EuroLeague standings with a record of 5-2, while Crvena Zvezda has two wins and five losses.
