Wolves Vilnius have added another experienced player to their roster for their inaugural EuroCup campaign, as center Djordje Gagic signed a one-year contract with the team on Wednesday.
In the previous season, Gagic displayed his skills in three different countries spanning two continents. He divided his time between Blois Basket in France and Borac Cacak in Serbia. During his tenure, he recorded an average of 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over 15 games in the French League. He then concluded the season with impressive stats of 10.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16 Adriatic League appearances.
Gagic’s recent stint with Quatar Sports Club Doha showcased his dominance, where he posted remarkable numbers of 9.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 11.3 assists in four games in the Qatari Basketball League.

Gagic, a Serbian center, boasts two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague seasons, both spent with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade from 2012 to 2014, and five EuroCup campaigns. With 54 EuroCup games under his belt, he has maintained career averages of 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds. In his most recent EuroCup appearance during the 2020-21 season with Lithuanian team 7bet-Lietkabelis Paneveyzs, Gagic showcased his skills, averaging 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
Gagic’s basketball journey has led him through various clubs, including Hemofarm Stada Vrsac in Serbia, Mornar Bar in Montenegro, Tenerife in Spain, Tsmoki Minsk in Belarus, Royal Hali Gaziantep, Yesilgiresun Belediye, and Istanbul BB in Turkey, Aris Thessaloniki in Greece, Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Brindisi in Italy.
He has achieved considerable success in his career, securing two Serbian League championships, winning the Serbian Cup twice, and earning the Adriatic League title in 2013. Gagic has also represented the Serbian national team, contributing to their bronze medal victory at the 2013 World University Games.
