“I don’t know exactly what happened there. It’s always scary to see someone in a wheelchair. Alperen Sengun is a very talented player. I feel bad. Nobody wants to get injured in that way. I wish him a quick and successful recovery,” said Domantas Sabonis at the press conference.
The Lithuanian is playing brilliantly this season for the Sacramento Kings, as evidenced by his averages of 20.1 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 8.4 assists. Alperen Sengun is also playing superbly for the Houston Rockets this season, averaging 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Kings remained seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 36-27, while the Houston Rockets face the battle for the play-in (29-35).
