Domantas Sabonis continues his stellar performances as the Sacramento Kings defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 120:107.
It’s been a very positive stretch for the Kings this season, having only suffered two losses in their last seven games. The game against the Los Angeles Lakers remained close until the third quarter when the exceptional performance of Domantas Sabonis shifted the momentum.
The Lithuanian forward delivered another outstanding performance, scoring 15 points in the third quarter alone and giving his team a significant advantage. Despite the Lakers’ attempts to pick up the pace in the decisive final 12 minutes, Sacramento managed to secure their fourth win of the season against them.
Sabonis led the winning team with yet another triple-double, tallying 17 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists. Harrison Barnes contributed with 23 points. On the opposing side, Austin Reaves scored 28 points.
The Denver Nuggets secured a routine victory on the road against the Miami Heat by 88:100.
From the outset, it was evident that the Denver Nuggets would control this game, primarily due to their excellent defense right from the start of the game. The margin was only six points at those moments, but they limited the home team to just 44 points by halftime.
The third quarter was slightly weaker, as Miami capitalized on Denver’s defensive lapses to close the gap to just one point heading into the final 12 minutes. However, there, we witnessed a perfect quarter from Denver, who clinched their 46th win of the season and claimed the top spot in the NBA Western Conference.
Leading the way for the victorious team was Michael Porter Jr. with 25 points, while Nikola Jokic contributed 12 points along with 14 rebounds and six assists. On the other side, Bam Adebayo scored 17 points alongside 13 rebounds.
