Domantas Sabonis played another outstanding game in the Sacramento Kings’ big win over the Denver Nuggets by 135-106.
The Lithuanian center is now the leader in triple-doubles in the current NBA season. With 17 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, he surpassed Nikola Jokic, as this was his 16th triple-double, while the Serbian has 15. Domantas Sabonis didn’t hide his satisfaction with his performance after the game.
“As a competitor, you always want to play against the best. It’s always interesting playing against Nikola Jokic. After two losses, we had to come out more aggressively and show character. Everyone contributed and played aggressively. Malik Monk gave us extra energy and, in my opinion, is the best sixth man in the entire NBA.”
