Draymond Green, player for the Golden State Warriors, spoke about the upcoming Eastern Conference Finals.
The Boston Celtics have cruised to their conference finals, suffering only two losses, raising the question of whether anyone in the East can stop them. On the other hand, the Indiana Pacers secured their spot in the finals after a hard-fought seven-game series against the New York Knicks. Many recalled Draymond Green’s statement, where he claimed the Pacers are a regular-season team. Despite this, the controversial player still stands by his words.
“Do you owe the Pacers an apology for calling them an 82-game team? The answer is no. You have got to take your hat off to the Indiana Pacers. I still personally think that they are an 82-game team but I didn’t think the Knicks were real. So, somebody had to get there.”
