Draymond Green, a Golden State Warriors player, responded to Skip Bayless’ criticisms directed towards him.
In the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show podcast, NBA champion Draymond Green didn’t hold back in response to Skip Bayless‘ recent criticisms. After being labeled the “dirtiest player in NBA history,” Green took the verbal jousting to a personal level, asserting his superiority in life over the sports commentator.
Dismissing Bayless’ invitation to his show, Undisputed, Green emphasized, “I’m not stepping foot on your set, Skip. Your show’s on life support, and I’m not here to resuscitate it.” In a move straight out of his playbook, Green cheekily reminded Bayless of his championship rings, challenging Bayless to match his achievements.
With a nod to Richard Sherman’s iconic words, Green declared, “I’m better than you. Better at life, better at basketball—just better.” His playful jab at Bayless continued as he questioned Bayless’ accolades compared to his own.
Even Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry chimed in, showing solidarity with Green’s stance by expressing his own “skipping” sentiment via emojis on social media.
Bayless initially labeled Green as the “dirtiest player in NBA history” during his show, citing a history of controversial plays on the court. Despite Bayless’ criticisms, Green remains unfazed, confident in his achievements both on and off the basketball court.
