At the ABA League meeting held in Zagreb, there was no agreement reached between Dubai and the representatives of the clubs regarding participation in the regional competition.
According to Mozzart Sport, ABA League clubs requested more money from Dubai during today’s Assembly of the regional competition, resulting in no agreement being reached. A new meeting will be held next week.
Dubai presented its project to the representatives of the clubs and reportedly offered €1,500,000, but this offer did not sit well with the current participants of the ABA League, who stated that a more substantial sum of money must be put on the table. The deadline for a new offer is seven days, so it remains to be seen what the final outcome of the situation will be.
In line with this, no decision has been made on how many clubs will participate in the regional competition next season.
