Dusko Ivanovic, the head coach of Baskonia, has joined an elite group following his team’s latest win in the Liga Endesa.
In a thrilling finish, Ivanovic’s team secured a 76:74 win against Breogan on their home court, staying in contention for the playoffs despite currently being in ninth place.
This win marked Ivanovic’s 400th win as a coach in the Liga Endesa, placing him in prestigious company alongside Aito Garcia, Pedro Martinez, and Pablo Laso.
The team from Vitoria is indeed the club with which he has achieved the highest number of wins – 329, which accounts for 68.8 percent. He has also coached Barcelona, although he made a significant impact as a player for Girona, where he later served as a coach.
This marks the fourth stint for the strategist from Montenegro at Baskonia, where he returned this season after parting ways with Crvena Zvezda.
