Dusko Ivanovic, the coach of Baskonia, spoke before the 11th round of the EuroLeague, where his team will face Valencia.
The Montenegrin coach spoke commendably about the orange-clad team. He emphasized that his team needs to be focused on defense.
“It’s clear that good defense for the full 40 minutes is our goal. Valencia is a very good team, well-structured, and plays solid defense. They have a strong inside game as well as excellent shooters and playmakers who can decide games and create opportunities for their teammates,” started Dusko Ivanovic.
Then he commented on whether the team from Baskonia will enter the market. The former coach of Crvena Zvezda gave an interesting answer.
“At the moment, we are not thinking about new players. If someone becomes available as an option and is free, it can only be considered as an option, but for now, no one is in the plan.”
