Dusko Ivanovic, the head coach of Baskonia, spoke after his team’s loss against Real Madrid in the EuroLeague Game 3 of the playoffs.
Among those details that made the difference, Dusko Ivanovic highlighted “some turnovers” and “lack of patience” at certain moments. Additionally, he didn’t want to use physical condition as an excuse, as they had “time” to prepare for the game this time.
“I want to congratulate Real Madrid, who beat us three times, but also my players. Tonight, we had the game under control and could have won, but they capitalized on our mistakes,” Ivanovic began.
“Today, we saw the quality, fight, and character of Baskonia. It’s a great result, and I’m proud. We finished among the top eight in Europe, playing great games” stated Ivanovic.
